Apply in the app

When your area opens, your link takes you to the Trim Barber app. Add your IC, your bank and your details in one go.

Watch the safety training

About 16 minutes of short videos on visiting homes safely. Watch them while we review your application.

Take the jobs you want

Jobs near you come to your phone. Accept the ones that suit you. Saying no never counts against you.

Get paid every Monday

Every cut you finished last week lands in your bank by 9am Monday. Tips are all yours.

What you need to start.

  • A Malaysian bank accountWhere your pay lands every Monday.
  • PERKESO coverThe law needs it before your first job. We register you in the app.

No car or set number of years needed. We ask about your transport and experience when you apply.

Questions

RM69.30 for an adult. On a family visit, each extra adult adds RM55.30 and each kid adds RM41.30. If you get there and nobody is home, you are still paid in full.

Every Monday by 9am, straight to your bank, for every cut you finished the week before. The only thing Trim takes out is your own PERKESO contribution, 1.25% of each cut. Stripe charges a small transfer fee on each payout, and you can see every line in the app.

No. Saying no never counts against you and never changes your rating. You can also hand back a job you accepted, with no penalty, up to 4 hours before the visit.

Yes. You work for yourself as a gig worker, not as a Trim employee, so you can work at a salon, on other apps or for your own clients. Just never use a Trim customer's details to book private work.

No. There is no joining fee, and Trim never charges you for training, uniforms or using the app.

As soon as the Trim Barber app opens in your area, we email and text you your sign up link. Barbers near the busiest areas hear first.
